These terms cover the use of swos.bd, the SWOS member app, and any donation made to SWOS through them. এই শর্তাবলী swos.bd ওয়েবসাইট, SWOS সদস্য অ্যাপ এবং এগুলোর মাধ্যমে করা যেকোনো দানের ক্ষেত্রে প্রযোজ্য।

1. Who we are / আমরা কারা

SWOS is a non-political, voluntary social-welfare organisation based in Saidpur, Nilphamari, active since 2017. সোস ২০১৭ সাল থেকে সৈয়দপুর, নীলফামারীতে কার্যরত একটি অরাজনৈতিক স্বেচ্ছাসেবী সমাজকল্যাণ সংগঠন।

2. How donations are collected / দান যেভাবে গ্রহণ করা হয়

  • Donations are received manually through bKash Send Money to the organisation's published number, or in cash at the office. দান বিকাশ সেন্ড মানি অথবা সরাসরি অফিসে নগদে গ্রহণ করা হয়।
  • This website has no card payment gateway and never asks for your card number, PIN or OTP. এই ওয়েবসাইটে কোনো কার্ড পেমেন্ট গেটওয়ে নেই এবং আমরা কখনও আপনার কার্ড নম্বর, পিন বা ওটিপি চাই না। কেউ SWOS-এর নাম করে এসব চাইলে দেবেন না, আমাদের জানান।
  • The donation form on the site only records who you are so we can match your bKash payment and thank you properly. It does not itself move any money.

3. Receipts / রসিদ

A receipt is issued on request. Email connectswos@gmail.com with the bKash transaction ID, date and amount and we will send a receipt. অনুরোধ করলে রসিদ দেওয়া হয় — বিকাশ ট্রানজেকশন আইডি, তারিখ ও পরিমাণসহ ইমেইল করুন।

4. Refunds / ফেরত

  • Donations are generally non-refundable once received, because funds are committed to programmes quickly. সাধারণভাবে গৃহীত দান ফেরতযোগ্য নয়।
  • Genuine mistakes — a duplicate payment, or an amount sent in error — will be refunded if reported within 7 days of the transaction, provided the funds have not already been disbursed. ভুলবশত পাঠানো বা দ্বিগুণ দানের ক্ষেত্রে ৭ দিনের মধ্যে জানালে ফেরত দেওয়া হয়।
  • Refunds are returned to the same bKash number the payment came from.

5. Use of funds / অর্থের ব্যবহার

  • A donation marked for a specific campaign is used for that campaign. নির্দিষ্ট ক্যাম্পেইনের জন্য দেওয়া দান সেই ক্যাম্পেইনেই ব্যয় হয়।
  • If a campaign closes with surplus funds, or cannot proceed, the balance moves to the organisation's general fund and is used for a comparable welfare programme. উদ্বৃত্ত বা অব্যবহৃত অর্থ সাধারণ তহবিলে যুক্ত হয়ে অনুরূপ কল্যাণমূলক কাজে ব্যয় হয়।
  • All expenditure is approved by the executive committee and recorded.

6. Membership / সদস্যপদ

  • Membership is subject to approval by the organisation and carries a monthly subscription (চাঁদা). সদস্যপদ সংগঠনের অনুমোদনসাপেক্ষ এবং এর সাথে মাসিক চাঁদা যুক্ত।
  • Volunteering does not require paid membership. স্বেচ্ছাসেবক হিসেবে কাজ করতে সদস্য হওয়া বাধ্যতামূলক নয়।
  • Membership subscriptions are not refundable, and membership may be suspended for conduct that harms the organisation or its beneficiaries.

7. Blood bank and volunteer listings / রক্ত ব্যাংক ও স্বেচ্ছাসেবক তালিকা

  • Listing yourself as a blood donor is voluntary and your phone number is never shown publicly — contact is coordinated through the organisation. রক্তদাতার ফোন নম্বর প্রকাশ্যে দেখানো হয় না।
  • You may ask to be removed from any public listing at any time by emailing connectswos@gmail.com. যেকোনো সময় তালিকা থেকে নাম সরাতে ইমেইল করুন।
  • SWOS coordinates between donors and requesters; it does not provide medical advice or guarantee availability.

8. Assistance requests / সহায়তার আবেদন

Applying for assistance does not guarantee assistance. Requests are reviewed against available funds and eligibility, and we contact applicants with the outcome. সহায়তার আবেদন করলেই সহায়তা নিশ্চিত হয় না — তহবিল ও যোগ্যতা বিবেচনা করে সিদ্ধান্ত জানানো হয়।

9. Acceptable use / ব্যবহারবিধি

Do not submit false information, other people's personal data without their consent, or use the site to harass, defraud or impersonate. Accounts that do so are suspended.

10. Content / কনটেন্ট

Photographs, text and the SWOS name and logo on this site belong to SWOS. Reuse for news, research or educational purposes with attribution is permitted; commercial reuse needs written permission.

11. Liability / দায়

The site is provided as-is. We work to keep information accurate but do not warrant that it is complete or uninterrupted, and we are not liable for indirect losses arising from its use.

12. Privacy / গোপনীয়তা

Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy / গোপনীয়তা নীতি.

13. Changes / পরিবর্তন

These terms may be updated; the “Last updated” date above will change accordingly.
